Free brief phone consultation: Discuss assessment goals and needs and answer any questions you may have about the assessment process, including ADHD psychological evaluations and Autism testing. This is a free, no-obligation consultation.
Schedule assessment and payment: Choose the interview date and time that works best for you and your child (appointments currently only offered on Fridays and Saturdays), complete the required legal documents, including biopsychosocial history, and make initial payment to hold your appointment.
Prior to assessment: You will be sent links to empirically validated assessment measures to be completed before the in-person assessment, which may include child development assessments. Assessment: An extensive diagnostic interview with the parent/guardian, observation of the child, and formal standardized testing assessments for concerns about Autism, including the Autism Diagnostic Observation Scale - Second Edition (ADOS-2), which is the gold standard required by most providers to start ABA therapy if recommended, will be conducted by Dr. Charette in a child-friendly setting. The appointment typically takes 2-3 hours and no other children or siblings can be present during this time. Second payment due.
Results and report: Dr. Charette will interpret and integrate the data, providing a comprehensive written report of findings, typically available within 7-10 days from the assessment. This report can be used by your child's school for 504/IEP and by your child's physician.
Feedback: Dr. Charette will meet in-person or virtually to discuss the report, findings, and recommendations. Last payment due.
